Anami Vice & Sweat Pant Superstars- Victoria Show

The poster is quite alluring is it not? This is an upcoming show at Victoria’s illy little Lucky Bar. Lucky has seen many amazing shows in its time but none satisfy the same  level of old school hometown clout that this one does. Its going to be a classic underground hip-hop night for the ages, all for the virtuous price of seven measly hippie dollars.  For those who have been sleeping on the BC hip-hop scene, Sweat Pants Superstars is a duo from Victoria that has been free-styling and making beats since before most of got our first pair of Air Force 1’s.  MC’s, ThesWrex, and Parker Lewis are a dynamic duo similar to Big Boi and Andrea3000 as they both accent each other astoundingly.  The mystic production of Thes Wrex is on point as well, for sure.

T.I. & Chris Brown to Star in New Movie “Takers”

Looks like T.I. and Chris Brown have landed themselves some fairly promenant roles in the upcoming flick “Takers”  that also stars Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen and Paul Walker. Takers centers on a notorious group of criminals who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists.

This is the first look at the last film Heath Ledger acted in. To finish filming his parts, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell were cast to portray his character transformed in other dimensions.

The film follows the leader of a travelling theatre troupe who, having made a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations.

It is set to be release on October 16th in the UK and on Christmas Day in the US. It’s gonna be a great movie.
