“All that’s definitely false. I mean … rehab for what? Being awesome?” Cudi told MTV News backstage at the Ulalume Festival in Columbia, Maryland last weekend. “We talk every once in a while. Like I said, he’s like a brother to me, I worry just as much as the next person, but when I say Kanye is cool, believe me, Kanye is OK. He’s a strong dude, I mean, we’ve seen him grow from College Dropout to now … the things he’s dealt with, the things he’s been through. He’s a strong dude.”

The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition Includes a Lock of Hair

It’s being promoted as “The ultimate peek into the Haus Of Gaga spanning music, fashion, art, fans and gossip!”. But out of all the bonuses in the $100 deluxe edition the real shocker is that the art table book “The definitive Book of Gaga” also includes a lock of Lady Gaga’s hair. – Yes you read that right – a lock of her hair. In the book or separate, who ever decide it was an good addition to a book should be fired.  This one earns my “WTF” stamp of approval.

Video: Paparazzi Assault Charges Against Kanye Will Be Dropped

Earlier this week an L.A. court commissioner dismissed battery, vandalism, theft and other charges against Kanye and his manager Don C. for their September 11th run-in with the paparazzi at LAX after the two agreed to complete community service and attend anger management classes.

Lady Gaga Announces “The Monster Ball”

Just announced! Lady Gaga will be going on tour for her “The Monster Ball” tour. Joining her as the supporting/opening act at every show will be Kid Cudi.

International pop superstar Lady Gaga today announced plans for her next North American tour, entitled “The Monster Ball.” The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, and will wind up on January 21, 2010 in Gaga’s hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

The tour kicks off Nov. 27 in Montreal and wraps up with 2 dates in New York City on January 20th and 21st. For the full details and tour dates hit the jump. (more…)

Word from LA today is that the “Fame Kills” tour has officially been cancelled presumably due to Lady Gaga withdrawing from the concert:

Los Angeles, CA (October 1, 2009) – Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga “Fame Kills” tour has been cancelled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically.

This news is official as various news outlets have confirmed it *edit* and Live Nations twitter also just posted the news. This does suck for the many fans looking forward to seeing them live.
