Continuing with our Rock The Bells footage is Talib Kweli performing live. After being told Reflection Eternal wouldn’t be attending they showed up for a quick 20 minute set before Nas & Damian Marley. Hi-Tek didn’t get much time on the mic so this video is purely Talib performing.

Common was one of the featured acts at yesterdays Rock The Bells in Vancouver and he sure made the best of it. Half way through his set he dropped a Vancouver special freestyle and finished it off with a bang “I voted for Obama and said fuck Bush”. Video also includes Common performing The People, Punch Drunk Love and Universal Mind Control. More footage is on the way from Rock The Bells including performances from Talib Kweli, Nas and Damian Marley.

The Dream took his go on the Kube 93 stage for Summer Jam and it was a good performance. I was surprised to see his voice/sound live is almost identical to his recorded work. I was honestly expecting his performance to be brutal but it was no where near that. The Dream is currently working on his third and final studio album (so he says).
